A couple of weeks ago we had a big Sunday for the Ogden family.
Our sweet Barron was dedicated to the Lord in front
of our church body.
We shared with the church the words we have felt for Barron -
that he would be one that ushers in the kingdom of God by
telling others about Jesus.
His middle name is Elliot - named after Jim Elliot a missionary who
was a martyr telling an unreached people group about Jesus.
And then -
Our sweet Jayden got BAPTIZED!!!!
He accepted the Lord last fall
and this summer he has been asking us to get baptized.
He was able to articulate why he wanted to get baptized
(to share with everyone his choice of accepting Jesus!)
he was SO EXCITED about this
he had been talking about it for weeks
it was so special because Jordan baptized him
nothing more special than seeing your children choose Jesus
thank you Lord for drawing all men to yourself
please give us everything we need to train him up in the way that he should
go so when he is old he will not depart from it
the rejoicing here (and in heaven)

he is growing up so fast!
we celebrated at Cafe Express afterwards!
what a special day!
