Getting Ready for Barron . . .

the last couple of weeks i have been transitioning the kids rooms
and getting ready for our new little one's arrival.
i had already moved duncan into jayden's room
but i still had his clothes and pictures to transfer over
so we did that
and then we just had to figure out our child's name so i could know how to personalize the room for him :)
as you can see from this post
the room is basically the same
with a few minor changes :)
last week we finally decided on his name!
we are naming him:
Barron Elliot Ogden
so i got a big B and painted it green
and made a hoop art with his initials on it

this part of the room is exactly the same

i don't think i had theses shelves when campbell was born
and i just recently go this adorable
print that says "you are my sunshine"
i decided to use the letter theme in jay den and ducnan's
room and put their little pictures in between the two letters
i was glad with how it turned out
simple yet something on the wall
the last project was adding some things to the wall in the playroom
i had this big O and really liked it,
but when we added the kitchen to the wall -
it made it off center and didn't work
so mary beth helped me add these little prints to it and then
a few different O's that we found around the house
i made the blue one with yarn and like how it ties the colors together

any way -
those are the major changes we made (not that major)
apparently i like the letter theme!
now we are ready for baby to get here!
come on Barron, make your appearance!

The day after the Wedding

the day after the wedding my dad had a brunch at olive branch
for the out of town guests to enjoy some time of fellowship and food.
it was the perfect way to end the wedding weekend.
it was so nice to be able to talk and catch up with family and friends that had been around all weekend long but that we hadn't gotten to spend much time with.
our dear family friends the foresters were there and so it was so fun for all of us girls to see them and spend time with them.
as well as family too!
these are the only two pics i got of that day as well -
but i wanted to capture them because it was a sweet time together!
 don't worry,
as soon as we got home that evening
jordan and i were in major
get ready for baby mode
we got down all the boxes,
moved up the crib mattress,
put up things
and prepared for our new little one that should be coming shortly!

The Wedding

as i said in the previous post,
i didn't get any great pictures of the wedding or of our family on the wedding day
or me and my sister
or any of the decor
but
i really enjoyed myself and realized i had to give some things up to be able to really engage in the day
and the festivities
so i have a bunch of random ones and they aren't that great of quality -
but i wanted to post them to remember them
and to give a taste of what the wedding was like
the above pic might be the only good one of sweet campbell -
but she looked adorable :)

and here is jayden - closing his eyes for this pic
but i do love his long eyelashes - so i thought i would post it :)

 for the reception,
we had a dinner under these great trees
the ambiance was amazing
amy and i giving our toasts
duncan was of course in action and the life of the party!
mary beth had a bunch of different cakes instead of just one big wedding cake
they were delicious -
and then she made love birds to put on top of each cake
and these adorable signs too -
i wish i could have captured each detail like that of the wedding -
it was pretty amazing -
but of course i didn't!
i am sure the photographer did though -
i will link up to her site when she posts them!
 doesn't amy look beautiful?
 jayden and sweet sara
were able to have some time together so that was fun!
 love them!
 mess
 magen and i
 beautiful ek
 c & kristin
kristin sang the song in the wedding -
and it was one of my favorite parts
she rocked it amazingly -
i LOVE her voice!
(by the way the actual service was probably the sweetest, most meaningful wedding
i had ever been to - most people who went had similar things to say -
it was so artistic, prophetic, beautiful - and jordan did an amazing job - i have to brag on him!)
hang wrote b a song here and he is singing it to her
 the sweet couple dancing
mary beth transformed my mom's wedding dress into this
i love the back!
 and the front
 it was beautiful
 daddy/daughter dance
this little one is too much
you should have seen him on the dance floor,
he would watch everyone dance and then copy the moves
he was quite a sight!
 mom and dad
 jordan and i
 getting kisses from the bride
 and then dancing with her
 and mimi

it was a wonderful, special, meaningful, beautiful night
one we will always remember
and a favorite for sure!
so glad it all turned out just as b wanted it
she was such a peaceful bride too
i was so proud of her -
she didn't stress at all but was able to enjoy the day
and all that God had for her in it!

The Rehearsal Dinner

after all the morning activities,
we headed out to Ruby Caroline that afternoon for the rehearsal
it was so fun to actually see the place
and all the chairs ware already set up in the circle
(they had a circle wedding - where the chairs all circled around them and this beautiful arbor that my dad made)
typical position you will find the love birds in :)
b with her bridesmaids (minus family)
mary beth looked so pretty and like a flower angel
we found this dress the week before and it was perfect for her
she wore a headband made of baby's breath for her hair -
she was stunning!
 speaking of stunning -
my mom was too!
but i don' think i have a picture to show you -
you will just have to believe me :)
 our sweet little family
so glad i got these pictures
because i didn't get one picture of our family at the actual wedding
not one.
i was so sad -
but i had to prioritize and just enjoy things that night!

 amy with her sweet girls!
mary beth with mom and alex's mom charro
 the sudan fam
after the rehearsal we went to olive branch for a wonderful dinner
and sweet tosts from friends and family
i didn't get any pics but this one from the night
but it was such a sweet time of celebrating b & hanj and their life together!
what a fun day it was!
memories made and time enjoyed!
