Duncan - now You "pat the bunny"

in honor of Easter week,

and one of duncan's favorites "Pat the Bunny"

when your the third child . . .

you will sleep wherever and whenever you can find a quiet moment

even if it is in the middle of the playroom, under the train table

jayden and i made sugar cookies last week

they were in the shape of bunnies & eggs

he is a good little cook

duncan tried to help ice them with us

but he got bored and decided to read a book

much more interesting than making cookies dunc!

had a gender party on saturday night to announce what their little one is!

we are going to have another niece!

how much fun.

i am so excited for them -

and can't wait to have another little one to love on.

alex pointed out to me that i don't have any nephews.

apparently ogdens are the only one in this family that produce males :)

for now at least :)

on monday we headed to the arboretum with tina and the kids

it was a BEAUTIFUL day and so much fun!

Detroit Retreat @ the Goode Ranch

At the end of this month we are going to take a team to Detroit

for a mission trip.

Jordan has had this city on his heart for years.

One of his life goals is to rebuild desolate cities.

Detroit is one of these places.

More people move out of the city than move in.

So in preparation for the trip,

we went on a retreat to the Goode's Ranch.

What a fun group of people we have on our team,

and what a beautiful place to "retreat"

We got their early evening on friday and were able to relax by the pool (and hot tub) with the Waldrums

yes it was hot enough to get in the pool

and i think it was a heated pool - so that made a big difference :)

jayden loves swimming and couldn't wait to get in the pool

after dinner on friday night we made s'mores and told our God "stories"

it was a great time of getting to know one another better!

on Saturday morning

jayden & duncan got to feed the chickens and take them to their coop

jayden is holding the bucket of chickens

there is also a little bunny that lives with the chickens

duncan was trying to make friends with him :)

after breakfast we put on our hats and boots and went

to feed the horses, donkey's, and cows

leeann, riley, karis, staci, me (&c), and alex

we are so glad that alex & jason are going on the trip with us too!
