Emery Kate's 3rd Birthday

On friday our sweet niece Emery Kate had her 3rd birthday!

On saturday morning we celebrated her at her

princess birthday party!

 i don't have that many pictures of the actual birthday girl

because her and duncan were always too busy to sit still for a picture :)

 here was the fun table of snacks

it was in the morning so we had donut holes and fruit!

her birthday was the next day!

 my dad was at the party -

so there are a lot of pictures of me in them - which is not normal

he would take my camera and snap shots of me with some of my friends :)

Mary Beth & Hanj's Couple's Shower

we threw mary beth and hanj a couple's shower a couple of weeks ago

 it was fun and we went with a love birds theme -

even though i didn't get pictures of any of the decor

i did get pics of people :)

 we played a short version of the newly weds game

 and then we had everyone go around and say how they knew b & hanj

and encourage them

 it was so sweet

and pretty exciting with what the Lord is going to do with this power couple!

 and apparently so does everyone else :)

 and then they opened their sweet, fun gifts!

can't believe it -

but a week from tomorrow -

they will be getting married!!!!

Easter Egg Hunt (last easter post :))

we ended easter day by going on an easter egg hunt

with some of our neighbors

 it had rained pretty hard that afternoon,

but it cleared up just in time for us to hunt eggs in a field by our house

we brought out the confetti eggs -

and the kids had a blast crushing them on each others heads!

it was a fun easter and i am so thankful for friends and family to share it with!
