Duncan's Birthday

i am a little behind, but wanted to post pictures from duncan's birthday

we had a sweet time together celebrating our little D!

i decided i wanted to start a tradition of having "breakfast cake"

(thank you noel piper and her book "treasuring God in your traditions" for this idea)

for birthday's and special days around our house

we put candles in the cake for duncan to blow out

duncan had fun opening his presents

he somewhat got the idea of opening gifts,

jayden helped him a lot with this :)

we went to lunch with our aunts, uncles, and cousins

it was so cute - i asked duncan which he would prefer for his bday lunch - chick fil a or emery kate (b/c the marables were going somewhere else already planned) and he chose emery kate!

after naps we met the daniel's and quiroz's at a pool in richardson

the kids had so much fun swimming

(of course duncan doesn't look like it in this picture :))

we ended the night with duncan seeing alice & chief and getting a fun new bike!

(now he can be like his big brother and ride along!)

it was a sweet day celebrating our Big Two year old!

Riley's Birthday party
